I've noticed that when using mods replacing the P228 n' Glock guns, the Magnum is modified accordingly because it uses the same sound files pointing towards the default L4D2 pistols when it turns out the sounds exist seperately and are nearly the same, why not just point the 'gunother' sound effects to the Magnum's directory? One can see this problem by looking at the game_sounds_weapons.txt, it's almost like copypasting because of laziness. Here: There are duplicate sounds in the Magnum's directory, but go unused. |
